Welcome to Bridges
We help children build the tools they need to be engaged in their community in the most inclusive way possible and go the extra mile to support the people that love and care for them.
Our Services During COVID-19
We’re working hard to continue serving and supporting our community during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Our number one goal is the health and safety of the children we work with, which means smaller groups and close following all of the guidelines prescribed by Alberta Health Services.
COVID-19 restrictions mean we’ve made some temporary changes to our 2020 summer programs. We’re still offering lots of responsive and exciting options for children aged 5-17 in the meantime and we’re fully prepared to expand as AHS relaxes its restrictions relax over the summer.
Bridges Consulting is a people company, a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively to meet the needs of every child we work with. Along with the members of our senior staff, we have a passionate group of Behaviour Coaches who are trained to provide the best support for all of our families.
Our approach puts children and family first in everything we do at Bridges, which means asking what’s needed rather than telling what’s best. We do this not because it’s easy, but because we know from experience it’s what brings about the most positive outcomes for the children that we work with.
Ready for Summer 2020?
Summer 2020 is shaping up to be a unique time for our community and families. Bridges Consulting has everything in place to meet our families’ needs with summer programming that’s safe, flexible and fun. Expecting that we will need to adapt to what we have offered in the past, we’re preparing three options for families to choose from.
Who We Are
Bridges believes in a family-centred approach to helping children gain the skills they need to reach their potential. The focus is on building the children's success skills through meaningful, targeted supports.
We provide small group programming and individual consultation and support to families with children who have a range of developmental deficits.
Our primary focus is on building the foundations of social thinking, behaviour and language needed for success. Our approach is governed by research-based practices and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
