The Lethbridge Summer Program
Summer 2020 Programs
We’ve been offering an ABA-based summer day program since 2012. We call this program “The Zone” and it’s designed to meet the needs of children ages 5-17 who struggle with issues like emotional regulation, understanding social rules, difficulties with peers and other social relationships.
While Alberta Health Service’s COVID-19 restrictions require that we make some temporary changes to our program this year, we’ll still offer responsive and exciting options for children aged 5-17 this summer. As restrictions relax, we’re fully prepared to expand our programs and services.
For the time being, we’re preparing three options for families. These options may change if Alberta Health Services evolves its guidelines on how we can operate. We are hopeful that some restrictions may be lifted in time for summer.
Call our Lethbridge office at (587) 425-4211 to register your child or to learn more about our 2020 Summer Program options.
Summer 2020 Options
OPTION ONE (available this summer)
Individualized in-home supports.
OPTION TWO (pending Alberta Health Services approval)
Small group social skills programming designed for children with issues managing emotional regulation, understanding social rules and difficulties with peers and other social relationships. Children and youth would be thoughtfully grouped based on the most recent recommendations. To minimize unnecessary contact, we will require that groups remain constant.
OPTION THREE (pending Alberta Health Services approval)
Combination of our social skills and in-home programming.
Our Other Programs
In addition to our summer program and individualized services, we also offer a wide range of group programs and supports for children and their families, including social skills training, in-home and community supports as well as consultations and counselling with our highly skilled and trained professional associates.

We provide small group programming and individual consultation and support to families with children who have a range of developmental deficits.
Our primary focus is on building the foundations of social thinking, behaviour and language needed for success. Our approach is governed by research-based practices and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
