Welcome

Registering for our summer program is simple. Just complete the form and we will take it from there. Keep in mind that a separate form is required for each child you are registering. And also ... space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as you can. Once we receive your forms, Bridges will send out confirmation e-mails to families beginning May 15th to let you know we have registered you for the days or weeks you request. You will receive a package that includes your 2022 registration forms. ALL forms will need to be returned before your child can attend the program. Program Selection

Please select the program you are interested in your child attending and indicate the days of the week you would like your child to attend. You will be asked to specify the time of day you're requesting at the end of the form.

Week of July 4-8: Space Camp
Space, the final frontier… these are the voyages of the kids from Bridges. We will use the solar system to discuss circles of intimacy, aliens to learn about social rules, and lets not for-get exploring personal space and boundaries. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of July 11-15: Mindset Matters
Our thoughts play a big role in how we feel and behave. During this week, we will explore how our mindset changes the way we view what is happening. Activities will focus on how we can challenge ourselves to shift our mindset and be open to accepting challenges and doing hard things. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of July 18-22: Super Duper Super
Calling all Super Heroes! You don’t need to wear a mask or a cape to make a difference! This week we will explore the world of Super Heros as we look at our own superpowers and how we all have the ability to make a difference when we think about doing good things. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of July 25-29: What's Buggin' You?
This week is about more than the awesome creepy and crawly things we see outside! We will also talk about the types of situations that act as triggers for big feelings. We'll explore how we can respond in safe and healthy ways. We will also look at ways to make friends with others and accept differences. Not to worry ... maybe we'll also spend a little time looking at bugs. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of August 2-5: I Choose ...
This week's activities are based on a series of books called I Choose. We will explore topics related to stress and anxiety, discuss people in our family and community and the different kinds of relationships we have. We will talk about how we manage our triggers and the people that can help us cope. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of August 8-12: Dino Mite
Let's get back to the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth! We'll talk about facts versus opinions, differences of opinion, friendship, problem-solving and emotional regulation. Of course, our conversations and activities will focus on these amazing prehistoric creatures. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of August 15-19: Create, Explore and More
Spatter, smudge and be emerged in the fun of creating something new every single day. Explore building, experimenting and working together. We will also practice important skills of team building, communication and friendship. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of August 22-26: Lots of Lego
Lego is fun for more than just building things. This week Lego will inspire us to work in groups, stay flexible, join others in play and have a little fun. We will have a chance to work on problems solving activities, planning and organizing skills and communication. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

Week of August 29-31: Ready, Set, Back to School
School is just around the corner. This week we will focus on the skills we need to transition back to school. We will look at the unwritten social rules of the school and playground. We'll talk about what school expectations are and set goals to be successful. Please select the days of the week you would like your child to attend this program.

We schedule staff based on your selections so please consider your vacations, days off, etc. when choosing. Programming is in place from 9:00-4:00 Before and After Care are available from 7:30 am-9:00 am and from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

In addition to our summer program and individualized services, we also offer a wide range of group programs and supports for children and their families, including ADHD coaching, social skills training, in-home and community supports as well as consultations and counselling with our highly skilled and trained professional associates.

Who We Are

Bridges believes in a family-centred approach to helping children gain the skills they need to reach their potential. The focus is on building the children's success skills through meaningful, targeted supports.

We provide small group programming and individual consultation and support to families with children who have a range of developmental deficits.

Our primary focus is on building the foundations of social thinking, behaviour and language needed for success. Our approach is governed by research-based practices and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
