What We Offer
Inclusive Programming
Every program we offer is dynamic, inclusive and unique. Our goal is always to provide neurodivergent youth with a place where they feel they belong and are celebrated for being who they are. Learn more about these programs below.
Social Skills
Social skills training is central to a lot of what we do at Bridges. Using our network of community partnerships, we group children strategically with typically developing peer models. The goal is to help strengthen the ability to interpret social cues, understand other people’s intentions and process how and when to respond and interact with others in social situations. Specialty Programs
In addition to our social skills groups for children aged 5-18, we offer specialty groups designed to engage with different age and peer groups. These include Minecraft and Dungeons & Dragons as well as groups that appeal to specific age-sensitive periods like girls in adolescence and teens preparing to transition into adulthood. Learn more.
ADHD Coaching
Our approach to ADHD coaching is rooted in relationships, mutual respect and a growth mindset through the lens of ADHD. We build trust as we get to know each client, then we identify goals, create step-by-step plans, practice, develop and harness strengths. We also empower each of our clients to discover their inner worth and improve their self-esteem. Learn more.
In-Home/Community Supports
Our staff will work with you to determine relevant and meaningful targets and build strategies to address improving your child’s ability to participate successfully at home and in the community. This can include everything from getting dressed and speech or language goals to grocery shopping to attending community activities such as Cub Scouts and swimming lessons. Contact us to learn more.
Consultations and Counselling
We work closely with registered Behaviourists, Psychologists, Speech-Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. Depending on your needs, a consultation can be provided by one of these skilled clinicians. Contact us to learn more.

ADAPTING TO COVID-19
The current COVID-19 pandemic situation is a unique time for our community and families. Bridges Consulting has everything in place to meet our families’ needs with programming that’s safe, flexible and fun. Expecting that we will need to adapt to what we have offered in the past, we’re continually evolving in response to changing regulations put in place by Alberta Health Services.
Who We Are
Bridges believes in a family-centred approach to helping children gain the skills they need to reach their potential. The focus is on building the children's success skills through meaningful, targeted supports.
We provide small group programming and individual consultation and support to families with children who have a range of developmental deficits.
Our primary focus is on building the foundations of social thinking, behaviour and language needed for success. Our approach is governed by research-based practices and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
